SCOPE
ASEC’s client is rebuilding their existing 138kV transmission line and requested ASEC to analyze the existing substation dead-end structure to determine the maximum allowable pull-off tension capacity.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The terminal deadend structure was modeled in PLS TOWER. The structure was also modeled in RISA 3D to analyze eccentric connections and determine the maximum pull-off tension capacity of the structure for new conductor loads.
