SCOPE
The scope included an emergency replacement of pole Z28270 for compliance. 69kV Transmission (636 ACS/AW conductor), 12kV Distribution overhead (636 ACS/AW Conductor) and 12kV Distribution Underground (2/0 AL conductor) to be transferred to the new SW steel pole. New fiberglass arms and connections are needed to be installed.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Replaced the aged wood pole with a new SW Galvanized steel pole. Structure’s 69kV pole top configuration was updated from an X-Delta 3 (with wood cross arms) to a YPI configuration so that all 69kV loading is supported by the pole. The entire design and analysis was performed within client standards, in addition to all the coordinating with multiple internal and external OH & UG teams while maintaining the schedule.
