SCOPE
The scope of this program includes emergency replacements of poles for potential safety issues. Typical projects include 69kV – 138kV Transmission (636 ACSR/AW conductor), 12kV Distribution overhead (636 ACSR/AW Conductor) and 12kV Distribution Underground (2/0 AL conductor) to be transferred from an existing wood pole to a new steel pole. New fiberglass arms and connections are also installed.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ASEC replaces the aged wood pole with a new SW steel pole. The structure’s pole top configuration is then updated to a current standard configuration so that all loading is supported by the pole. The entire design and analysis are performed within client standards while coordinating with multiple internal and external OH & UG teams and maintaining the schedule.
