Scope

ASEC was tasked with analyzing the existing dead-end structures at the Marsh Lane substation to determine the maximum allowable pull-off tension capacity as the client was rebuilding their existing 138kV transmission line. The goal of the project was to ensure that the structures were capable of handling the new conductor load without any structural failures or safety concerns.

Outcome

ASEC’s team of experienced engineers worked closely with the client throughout the project to ensure that the analysis was thorough, accurate, and met all project requirements. The team also provided detailed reports and recommendations to the client, outlining any necessary upgrades or modifications to the dead-end structures to ensure they could handle the new conductor load.
