Scope
ASEC has completed over twenty-five (25) antenna add-on projects with the client to date, and we expect to continue providing this support in the foreseeable future. We developed site-specific PLS TOWER models of existing lattice towers based on historical drawings, photographs, and site visits. The maximum conductor load development was based on NESC and client’s standards, while the antenna loads were based on TIA-222.
The existing structures were then analyzed with the conductor and antenna loads to ensure structural adequacy and stability. In cases where overutilizations were indicated, ASEC provided remediations to resolve the issues. Subsequently, we created modification drawings and prepared construction-ready packages as deliverables to the client. Additionally, ASEC provided construction support throughout the construction phase to ensure the successful installation of the antennas.
