ASEC’s client is rebuilding their existing 138kV transmission line and requested ASEC to analyze the existing substation dead-end structure to determine the maximum allowable pull-off tension capacity.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Structure was modeled in PLS TOWER. Structure was also modeled in RISA 3D to analyze eccentric connections. Determined the maximum pull-off tension capacity of the structure for new conductor loads.
